Will the labels stay on through the wash?
Yes. Stuck to a polyester wash label and left for 24 hours before the first wash, they are washing machine and tumble dryer safe at up to 40 degrees and last at least 200 washes.
How do I use the stamp?
Wash and dry any new clothes first. Lay the garment on a hard, flat surface and press the stamp firmly onto the fabric for three seconds, then release. Leave the ink to dry for at least 24 hours before washing. The stamp is not suitable for care labels.
How much can I fit on each line?
Up to 12 characters per line, on up to two lines. The size of the text depends partly on the length of the name, so a longer name prints smaller. A longer name can be split over the two lines, for example first name on line 1 and surname on line 2.
Which fabrics does it work on?
The stamp prints in black ink only, so it shows clearly on light-coloured, smooth fabrics, and is ideal for sportswear and T-shirts. For dark clothing, a sticker or iron-on label is a better choice.
