Will the labels stay on through the wash?
Yes. Stuck to a polyester wash label and left for 24 hours before the first wash, they are washing machine and tumble dryer safe at up to 40 degrees and last at least 200 washes.
How do I iron them on?
Make sure the garment is washed and dry, and lay it on a hard, flat surface. Cut out the label with sharp scissors, leaving a margin around the print, place it on the garment and cover it completely with baking paper. With the iron on its highest setting and the steam off, iron over the baking paper for about 15 seconds, pressing firmly. Carefully peel the sheet away, cover the label with baking paper again and iron briefly once more. Wait 24 hours before washing or drying.
How much can I fit on each line?
Up to 10 characters per line, on two name lines. A longer name can be split over the two lines, for example first name on line 1 and surname on line 2.
What are the pack sizes?
Small holds 16 labels, Medium holds 32 labels and Large holds 64 labels. Each set of 16 is two sheets of 8 labels: one sheet in the text colour you choose and one with standard white text for dark clothing.
How long do they last, and can they be removed?
They last at least 40 washes when washed at up to 40 degrees without fabric softener or stain remover, both of which can damage the print. Once ironed on they cannot be removed from the garment.
Are they printed to order?
Yes. Every set is printed with the name and the choices you make, so please check your spelling before you order.
