Why Altered Lengths Can Make Such a Difference

Please note: Leg length alteration orders usually take around 5 days for most of the year. During busy back-to-school periods, this can take around 7 to 14 days. Altered trousers are non-returnable unless faulty, so please check the size guide carefully before selecting this option.

We recommend checking the size guide first and choosing the trouser size based mainly on the waist and comfort fit. Once the waist size is correct, look at the inside leg measurement and decide how much shorter you need the trousers to be.

If you are unsure, it is usually best to measure a pair of trousers your child already wears comfortably and compare the inside leg length before selecting an alteration.
