The Stratford tie is purple for every year group, and purple is the only colour in the whole uniform. What changes is one stripe near the top, edged in black: yellow for Year 7, red for Year 8, green for Year 9, blue for Year 10 and silver for Year 11. Below it the tie is plain purple.
