Available in Adult size, age 11 to 99 years. The OPRO Platinum takes minutes to mould, and once moulded to your teeth it provides a comfortable and protective gum shield. The fitting cradle allows you to place the mouthguard straight into your mouth, helping it fit correctly when moulded and helping to avoid a wonky mouthguard.

The Platinum Mouthguard has 13 anatomical fins placed in exact positions to mould snugly to your teeth. When the mouthguard is dropped into hot water, the fins, made from an ultra-flow gel material, soften so that when you compress them against your teeth and gums they create a mouthguard unique to you.

Unlike other mouthguards, the Platinum Mouthguard comes with holes at the front and on either side where the cradle sits during fitting. This ensures a minimum amount of ultra-impact resistant material, which provides air cushions for added protection against blows or shots to the teeth and gums.

Always clean your gum shield with cold water following use. Do not use mouthwashes, toothpaste or other detergents. Clean the gum shield box with warm water and always ensure that your gum shield is dry before storing it in the box. Always keep your gum shield in its box when not in use and inscribe the user's name indelibly on the gum shield box.

Important warnings:

  • Do not chew your gum shield.
  • Do not wear your gum shield if it is showing signs of wear, cracks or splits. If this is the case, dispose of your gum shield and replace it with a new one.
  • Do not allow any person other than the named user to use the gum shield.
  • Do not expose your gum shield to extreme heat or direct sunlight, always store it in the box when not in use.
  • Parents should check the fit of a child's gum shield regularly to ensure that it is not conflicting with the development of the mouth and teeth.
  • If you have a brace or other device fitted to your teeth, consult your dental surgeon or orthodontist about the suitability of the gum shield. Never wear a gum shield with a brace unless it has been approved by the person fitting the brace.
