Zeco's measurements. Measure the waist around the natural waistline (the narrowest part; in younger children usually midway between the bottom rib and the hip bone). For the inside leg, stand straight in shoes and measure from the top of the inside leg down to where the trousers should finish, usually 1 inch from the ground.
