I ordered purple. Will the tie be purple?
No. It is a maroon tie with purple stripes. Every year group wears maroon and the stripe identifies the year.
The Year 10 tie looks plain maroon. Is it right?
Probably. Red on maroon is much less obvious than the other four colours. In daylight the red stripe separates clearly from the ground.
